The conversations will be spoken only one time and will not be printed in your test book.

W: How many people are expected to show up tonight? Around fifty like the last time?
M: I would say probably more because this time around Jack and his staff members at our Westhill branch office have decided to join us. How many chairs did you prepare?
W: We've set up 100 chairs. Do you think we should have more?
M: Yes, let's bring in about 20 more, just to be in the safe side.

W: I believe Mary is the person you want to speak with. However, she's at her dentist's office this morning and is expected to arrive by lunchtime.
M: I see. Could you do me a favor and ask her to give me a shout when she gets in? I need to discuss the guest list with her.
W: Sure, Mr. King. I will pass on the message for you.

W: It is with pleasure and privilege that I introduce the keynote speaker for this weekend's conference, Dr. Ralph Miller. Dr. Miller is already well known among the scientific community. However, it is his paper on genetic cloning that has made him a household name. He has just recently published his latest findings on the cloning of two sheep known to us as 'Bonnie and Clyde.' It is the vision of Dr. Miller and  his team of researchers to make a cloned major organ available to every single individual. If his cloning experiment does actually succeed, it is expected to increase people's life expectancy to well over 100 years.

7. Who is the main speaker?
  B. A scientist

8. According to the speaker, what has made the keynote speaker become known to all the citizens?
