	look up / search / search for

A.	look up은 사전에서 단어를 또는 컴퓨터에서 정보를 찾아 보듯 ...을 찾아보다 라는 의미로 주로 사용된다.
1.	Look it up.
2.	If you don't know a word, look it up in the dictionary.
3.	He looked up her phone number.
4.	Look up the number in the telephone book.
5.	She looked up the unfamiliar word in a dictionary.

B.	search는 (장소를) 수색하다, 뒤지다 라는 의미이다.
1.	I've searched the house but I still can't find my watch.
2.	They searched three towns for the boy who ran away.
3.	We searched the whole house for Gloria's ring.

C.	search for는 (찾고 있는 사람이나 물건을) 찾다 라는 의미로 사용된다.
1.	He searched for his keys.
2.	He spent a long time searching for his glasses.

	search me!는 나는 모른다 라는 의미로 사용된다.
	Why is she leaving? Search me!
