A.	put은 일반적으로 어떤 것을 어디에 또는 무엇 위에 놓다 라는 의미이다.
1.	She put her coat in the closet.

B.	set은 어떤 것을 어디에 조심스럽게 살살 놓다 라는 의미이다.
1.	She set the vase on the table.

C.	lay는 옷처럼 쭉 펼쳐 놓다 라는 의미로 사용하고자 할 때 쓰인다.
