	used to / would

A.	used to는 과거에 규칙적인 행위나 습관 또는 상태를 현재와 대조시켜 말할 때 사용된다. 그 의미는 과거에는 ...했었다 (그러나 지금은 하지 않는다) 또는 ...하곤 했었다 (그러나 지금은 하지 않는다)라는 의미로 과거만 표현하여 현재와 대조를 시킬 때 사용된다.
1	He used to walk to work.
2	I used to study taekwondo.
3	They used to live in Texas.
4	I used to like him.
5	He used to eat out everyday.
6	I used to have a bicycle, but I don't anymore.
7	Susan used to play the piano every day, but she hardly ever plays now.
8	Do you play golf? No, but I used to.

B.	used to의 부정문은 did not use to와 used not to가 사용된다.
1	He did not use to ride. (He used not to ride.)
2	I didn't use to swim well, but now I do.

C.	used to의 의문문은 Did someone use to...?을 사용한다.

2	Did you use to go dancing often?

D.	would는 used to와는 달리 과거의 규칙적인(반복적인) 행위나 습관을 의미하지 과거를 현재와 대조 시키지 못하고 단지 과거만을 중립적으로 나타내며 현재 상태는 어떤 지 모른다.
1	When I got home from school, I would help my mom make dinner.
2	The children would play for hours on the beach.
